Whenever I make notes, I always end up writing like this. I can assure you that this is not my normal handwriting.

I have a hearing disability. I cannot hear high pitched sounds quite well, for example, the beeping of the microwave oven, the shrill car alarm sounds and other “tinny” sounds. I also cannot hear female voices quite well, so I apologise to all the ladies who felt ignored while they were talking to me. I simply just cannot hear you. I also hate whispers and muted sounds because I cannot hear them at all. T_T I sometimes lip read so that I’d be able to understand what was being said. Sigh.

Even though these hearing aids help my hearing, I am quite the stubborn person. I do not like wearing them at all. I guess it’s time to put these bionic ears to good use, so that I won’t have any problems communicating with people next time.
